Each jump has got its own snags, quirks and advantages - they say. The more surprising there is at least one condition which remains constant good: the inrun track.

At the same time the German Ski Cup of the Ski jumping and Nordic Combined takes place in two different places in the next few days - on the first weekend of the year - the inrun tracks stay  the same from the house of the Saxon company Peter Riedel Ltd. 

While the combiner fight in Oberwiesenthal for places and medals, the specialist compete in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A few days after the traditional New Year's event there is no time to catch a breath for especially the Bavarians: The jump must be prepared even if the big highlight of the season is over already.

and Partenkirchen. More than 450 kilometres are between the two places, but the conditions remain the same in relation to the track. The same system, the same ice structure and perfect ice conditions ensure at least this point of the competition is spared from external influences.
