RASCHAU/TSCHAGGUNS 28th of June 2014–Although in some parts of Europe is midsummer, the two winter sports hotspots Austria and Erzgebirge are not in deep sleep, but rather at full operation. While Oberwiesenthal gets prepared for the Summer Grand Prix of the Nordic combined, which will take place tomorrow on Saturday, June 28th in Austria, at the same time the grand opening of the Montafon Nordic Ski jumping Center in Tschagguns takes place with the kids 4-Hills-Tournament in Bischofshofen instead.

The fact that all this winter highlights in this summer do concentrate in the small Raschau in the Erzgebirge  is more astonishing. But Peter Riedel Sports Technology supports not only the children 4-Hills-Tournament in Austria, at the same time it is also responsible for the new high-tech ski jump in Oberwiesenthal and Tschagguns. The fact that these ski jumps make possible a summer training at the highest level, could last convince the Austrian national team of the Combiner who completed a first summer training in Tschagguns. Also, local training groups from Stams and the environment have already completed training workouts at the jump - and they are all equal enthusiasm.

"The inrun track of Riedel works perfectly, his people have done a great job," says Dieter Streb,  the head of the ski jump facility in Tschagguns. The managing director of the Montafon Nordic Sports Center GmbH, Elmar Egg, already proved by SMS to Peter Riedel enthusiastic about the HS 108. Time for a personal exchange will have the two tomorrow on Saturday sufficiently if the jump is officially inaugurated.
"For us as a partner of the Austrian Ski Federation, it is natural that we follow the invitation from Tschagguns. The hill fits with their perfect architecture really well in the landscape - the more I look forward to the opening to see the finished facility", says Peter Riedel in terms of its on-site visit. Many well known personalities from the Austrian politics and the Nordic skiing will also attend the opening near the Swiss border.

Already in the next few weeks, the ski jump will continue to be used diligently for training purposes - especially athletes from Switzerland have already registered for the training. In February in 2015, the ski jumping facility will experience with the EYOF - the European Youth Olympic Festival - their first major international competition.
