„The best ski jumps in the world“

Peter Riedel - „The best ski jumps in the world“– Film premiere

The best ski jumps in the world are fascinating, technical masterpieces of winter sport. Peter Riedel knows them all inside out. As a developer of high-tech inrun track systems, the Jack of all trades from the Ore Mountains travels around the world's ski jumps about 300 days a year and has a lot to show and to tell.

The success story of the construction engineer and entrepreneur from Tellerhäuser in the Ore Mountains started in 2005 with a small construction company. At that time, the son of Eberhard Riedel, the most successful ski racer of the GDR, earned his living by working on small construction projects. The way to sport was already foreshadowed to him by his father, so it was not long before Peter Riedel implemented the first projects in the ski jumping sector. The construction company from Raschau quickly became the world’s most demanding international company in the production of ski jump equipment and inrun track systems.

In the meantime inrun track system of Peter Riedel has been installed on 61 ski jumps all over the world but regional focus and down-to-earth attitude are the top priorities for the company. Among other things, Peter Riedel operates the medium-sized company Peter Riedel GmbH with currently eight workplaces in Raschau.

The stars of the ski jumping scene train on the inrun tracks of Peter Riedel all around the world. All important events in the Ski Jumping World Cup such as the Four Hills Tournament, Raw Air or the World Cup in Seefeld and Innsbruck, which is just around the corner in January 2019, will be held in his tracks - there is no end to the success story in sight.

Since 2015 Peter Riedel has been documenting these in his own films that make the ski jumps of Innsbruck, Bischofshofen (AUT), Oslo and Vikersund (NOR) shine in an unprecedented light. Convince yourself of the breathtaking pictures and the fascination that these masterpieces of winter sport have on everyone! The pictures will be presented to the public for the first time on the big screen in the Ring Kino in Schwarzenberg and moderated by sport reporter Michael Drevenstedt. Further performances are coming.
