RASCHAU, 2 November, 2012 – The chances of Peter Riedel GmbH to be awarded the complete renovation of the Fichtelberg ski jump in Oberwiesenthal have further increased. “The things Peter Riedel and his team showed and explained today looked very, very good”, said Mirko Ernst, mayor of Oberwiesenthal, himself. Together with a few town councils and representatives of the Olympic centre, he attended the presentation which took almost 3 hours in total and which covered the topics of inrun, dimple surface, data service and others.
Company-owner Peter Riedel was pleased with the interest in the product range and the presentation of his company and he stays optimistic yet cautious. “Naturally, there is no final result yet. The city council will reach a decision in the beginning of December. We know that we are in a good position with our total package and we are happy that today, we were able to answer further questions to the satisfaction of all those present.”
To one of the world’s most prominent enterprises in the field of inrun construction, the ski jump in Oberwiesenthal - the home of Peter Riedel - is more than an important contract. “A lot of emotion is involved in the Fichtelberg ski jump”, admits Peter Riedel. “It is a matter close to my heart which makes this project more important than it already is!”
