RASCHAU/TRONDHEIM – As soon as the Olympic Games are over, it goes for most winter sports disciplines already in the final sprint. So also for the Ski Jumping World Cup, which does stop on the 6th and 7th of March 2014 in Trondheim.

In order at the end of the season - and in some cases despite spring-like weather conditions - to create optimal conditions for the ski jumpers the company Peter Riedel from the Erzgebirge will take over the care of the hills to the World Cup in Trondheim shortly.

This means for the athletes in comparison to the Olympic Games in Sochi a significant change. The inrun track is not only weather resistant in rain thanks to the 7.5-cm thick block of ice, but will also be, thanks to their refined ice structure, significantly faster.

"We are fortunate to be able to accompany the World Cup in Trondheim. We support the principle of the International Ski Federation, that from the first to last jumper all must have the same conditions. For our inrun track is the weather such as rain or snow problems no obstacle", said Peter Riedel, head of Peter Riedel Ltd.
