Thanks, Thanks, Thanks – to everybody who supported me and my team to prepare and perform the SGP 2014 here in Oberwiesenthal. It was a high quality event going new ways and setting new standards! This was just possible because of your support, because of sponsors, tradesmen, city government, federal state, rural district, hotels, members of the clubs, voluntary organizers, fire departments and because of every single tireless voluntary and supporter of the (winter-) sport.

The SGP in Oberwiesenthal is actually the only FIS competition here in the Erzgebirge and that’s why it is very important for our region and our Free State Saxony if you think more global. Because where other regions have more competitions, we have only that single high qualitative one of the Nordic Combined at the Fichtelberg.

At our Eric Frenzel especially and at all the athletes in general we hopefully stay in their minds with a super event.  The officials of FIS gave a compliment to the OK-Team signed green light for SGP 2015.

Let us all together lay the groundwork to welcome the top athletes from all over the world in the next summer 2015 again here and to perform another perfect event at the Fichtelberg.
