BARCELONA, 2nd June 2014 – The travel from Dresden to Barcelona was smoothly and  aquí estoy yo – here I am! The congress of the International Ski Federation FIS takes place every second year and it’s a highlight in the calendar of the guardians of the winter sports. The committees of all disciplines meet for their sessions additionally there are  the Athlete’s Commision, the Medical committees, the coordination group youth & children, the group Public Relations and Mass Media and many many more. About 70 (!) meetings are scheduled.

Of course there will be the Council-Meeting and a range of receptions, cocktail parties and a gala dinner by the inviting Spanish ski association and the FIS.

For Peter Riedel GmbH this is less pleasure then hard business. The next days the task will be to present new products developed in the last winter to decision makers of FIS. That’s why there are appointments tomorrow and the day after tomorrow to hold presentations within the meetings of skijumping and Nordic combined committee. Furthermore it’s the duty to talk to the decision makers of the ski associations and to organizers of world cups and other important events.

It’s fun to advertise your own products and do lobbying! It’s a pity that obviously there will be no time left to visit the Olympia city from 1992 but a short visit in a tapas-bar was already realized.

Before I’ll finish my entry I’ll do something for the general education. LEARNING SPANISH WITH PETER!

¡buenos días! The translation everybody knows: good morning. But what is jumping hill in Spanish? The solving will be released tommorow  or you send me on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/peter.riedel1963?fref=ts

Best regards from Barcelona – see you then!
Yours Peter Riedel
