ZURICH – At its annual meeting in Zurich, the International Ski Federation FIS today awarded Oberwiesenthal once more with the start of the Summer Grand Prix series of the Nordic Combined. The series kick-off will be held from August 18th to August 20th 2017.

Ahead of the timetable fixture, the FIS personally thanked the organizers for their commitment and the professional execution of this years Summer Grand Prix. Not only did Oberwiesenthal attract the most visitors, but it also proved to be an event held at an exceptional high level that was not at all influenced by the logistical difficulties that came with the deconstruction of the ski lift system.
