The World Cup start in Ruka was not only a successful start into the season for the Peter Riedel GmbH but also an important step towards further cooperation with the Austrian Ski Association. While the world's best ski jumpers and nordic combined athletes jumped on the newly installed  inrun track in Finland, general manager Peter Riedel and representatives of the ski association were already discussing future projects in the Alps.

According to Peter Riedel "Ruka was a very successful season start, as the OK, the FIS and the athletes all thanked us for the great track and the help in the problem-free implementation - such feedback meant, of course, a massive motivation for my whole team. Yet, the best thing was probably the long brainstorming sessions we had with the ÖSV. The federation is incredibly progressive and innovative and has become a very important partner for us in the development of our solutions for sports and sports science."

As the film of the Styrian Television, that was broadcast before the season start, shows, in both ski jumping and nordic combined the Austrians used the test facility Speedrace 1.0, initiated together with the Peter Riedel GmbH, intensively for the preparation for the new winter season. This cooperation in athletic support for the athletes is to be continued and even expanded in the future.
