Riedel equips local ski jump

RASCHAU - While the last projects led the team of Peter Riedel GmbH throughout Europe, the expert for ski jumping equipment is now looking forward to a project on home turf: today the first hammer hit took place in Saxonian Scheibenberg - only seven and a half kilometers away from the company headquarters in Raschau.

Together with Scheibenberg's first mayor, Michael Staib, and the chairman of the ski club, Bernd Fischer, Peter Riedel, the managing director, celebrated the beginning of Scheibenberg's K30 ski jump. The K30, built in 1972, is operated by the SSV 1846 Scheibenberg e.V., which, through its successful club work, is decisively involved in the development of talent in Saxony. The ski jump was rebuilt in 1999, but modernization is urgently needed.

"It is an honor for us as a local company to offer our help. Scheibenberg is an important training center in Saxony and we are pleased that through the renewal of the ski jump, we can jointly ensure that this will continue in the future", says Peter Riedel.
