After the company has already promoted the youth of winter sports in recent years, the Saxonian Peter Riedel GmbH is now expanding its activities as a sponsor of wintersports to the high-performance section of the sport. As of mid-August, the in-run track manufacturer will support the Austrian Nordic combined Willi Denifl as a sponsor. 

"The sport is so much fun, but without sponsors I could not do it", explains the 2003 World Cup winner, who finished ninth of the overall world cup last season. "I've known Peter for a long time, his tracks are by far the best, and since they are on so many hills world-wide, we have always crossed paths and have had a lot of fun. The fact that we now also have a professional relationship with one another seems just about right." 

In order to be optimally prepared for the Olympic winter, Denifl is currently not competing in the summer competitions and is instead concentrating entirely on preparing for the winter. "We are really looking forward to the form in which he will be presented himself during the winter and we are delighted that we can help to make his path towards it a little easier for him," says Peter Riedel, explaining the company's commitment as a sponsor.
