The Peter Riedel GmbH has extended the contract with the Austrian Ski Federation for another 5 years. Until 2023, The Peter Riedel GmbH will provide the Austrian Ski Federation with track components and the track milling machine, both for the test track in Ramsau am Dachstein. On the test track, ski jumpers and nordic combined athletes can train the inrun position without doing a jump. The nordic director of the ÖSV, Mario Stecher, sees this as an important tool in everyday training. "With the track in Ramsau, we have the opportunity to work intensively on the inrun, from the junior athlete to the national team, and to improve the technique." In addition to the training aspects, material tests are also carried out on the track. The findings from this help both the Austrian Ski Federation and the Peter Riedel GmbH to draw important conclusions for future developments in this area.
