„Erzgebirgler“ visit at Kulm!

Die Stimmung war trotz Regens und Schnee super

When the stars of the ski jumping circus take off this weekend at Kulm in Bad Mitterndorf to maximum heights, there is also a small but fine delegation from the Ore Mountains in the crowd. Peter Riedel and Lang Reisen from Schwarzenberg make it possible. For the first time, the two local companies are offering a fan trip to the Skiflying Worldcup at the Kulm! The trip was sold out in no time and the guests can expect an all-round carefree package!

Yesterday the delegation drove to to Admont in Styria in a highly modern coach, where the 54 participants - including 40 members of the SC Pöhla - moved into their accommodation for the next three days. But they won't spend much time there, the program is tight and has a lot to offer!

The weather was not the best today Friday, but that did not detract from the good mood. Peter Riedel personally received the guests and before diving into the World Cup atmosphere, an exclusive highlight was on the agenda. Peter Riedel organized a tour behind the scenes of the Kulm, one of the largest ski jumping hills in the world. No one is better suited for the tour than Peter Riedel himself, by building the track on the Kulm he knows the system like the back of his hand. From the tower to the inrun, which allowed a magnificent view of the facility, across the table to the landing and into the stadium - the participants got insights that are not normally available.

“The idea for this cooperation came up last year. Rene Lang, the managing director of Lang Reisen, came up to me and the idea was born. The Kulm is a great opportunity to offer the people from the ore mountain region a ski jumping experience at a reasonable price. I am pleased that we can offer such a great product together. This underlines the consistently positive connection that we as a company have with the Kulm. I'm looking forward to three wonderful days on the Kulm and think that people are already excited about the unique atmosphere, ”says Peter Riedel.
