A slightly different jump into the new year

We actually wanted to take things a little easier at the end of the year. After a few wonderful days at home with the family, we go to our almost traditional first event of the new year - the New Year's skijumping competition in Garmisch Partenkirchen. There, toast to a successful new year with friends, companions and business partners and support the crew on side with the work in the inrun. So much for the theory.

Unfortunately, practice looks completely different this year, the quiet time is gone. The order books are still full, employee training is coming up and, above all, the steel construction division is keeping us busy.

Initially it even looked as if not only our holidays would be canceled, but also that New Year's celebrations would fall victim to ongoing business. Thanks to our loyal employees, who are working overtime when it matters, we have now been able to save the jumping in Garmisch. Although unfortunately not fully staffed, but at least one employee will be there to support the ski jumping team in Partenkirchen.

The rest of my crew and I are keeping our fingers crossed from far. Even though it's really strange and maybe a little sad not to be there for the New Year's classic for a long time.

With this in mind, we wish you and the entire ski jumping family a happy new year, much success and, above all, health! May we continue to experience many exciting competitions and never run out of fun, passion and joy in what we do!

Yours, Peter Riedel and team
