What positive feedback can do - I can tell you, it was like balm for my soul! Getting genuine praise from the scene's superstars is pretty cool, and sadly, it's all too rare these days. That's how I felt after the ski flying in Vikersund. After the competitions, Halvor Egner Granerud came by and thanked me personally for the very good inrun conditions in Vikersund and the new inrun tracks in Trondheim, which the Norwegian high-flyer has already tested extensively.

Stefan Kraft, with whom I was able to ride the lift in Vikersund and philosophize about exciting topics, was more than satisfied after the competition. “The conditions in Vikersund were great again this year, I was able to perform well and can now look back on a brilliant ski flying weekend. The ice track worked perfectly and we had fair conditions from the first to the last jumper. Thanks to the organizers and Peter Riedel and his team for the good work.”

Well, after ski flying is before ski flying. And the athletes have already started with the qualification today in Planica. I wish the entire ski jumping family great ski flying and a great season ending. I hope you will find the same good conditions as in Vikersund!
