What a special honor for the Peter Riedel inrun tracks. An module of the master track is displayed at the most important ski museum in the world at Holmenkollen in Oslo.

The Skimuseum am Holmenkollen was founded in 1923 and is the oldest ski museum in the world with more than 6,000 exhibits. Only the most important and historically significant exhibits from more than 4,000 years of ski history make it to the museum halls, which are located directly under the ski jump on Holmenkollen.

For example, parts of the original expedition equipment of Roald Amundsen, the most successful sailor and polar explorer in Arctic and Antarctic. Or the famous "Birkebeiner" painting, which shows two warriors on cross-country skis and is known far beyond the Norwegian borders. Right next to the painting, a track module by Peter-Riedel Sportstechnology has been hanging since September. „A big honor", as Peter Riedel finds.

"It is a special honor for me that one of our track modules now hangs in the oldest ski museum in the world. On my last visit to Holmenkollen, I met the museum director at the parking lot. When she told me that our track module is now displayed in the museum, i got goosebumps. Only the most historically valuable exhibits find their way to the museum, and we are right in the middle of it with our inrun track. It is a confirmation for me that we were able to develop the ski jumping sport with our tracks and that we are now part of the history of ski jumping development. That makes me incredibly proud and gives me a lot of strength for the next innovations ", says Peter Riedel.
