In the recent months, I traveled to various countries. I got to know its people, I gained many impressions and I experienced the beauty and peculiarities of foreign cultures. Back in my hometown Tellerhäuser, however, I realized how beautiful my home, the ore mountains, are. As exciting and beautiful as it is in the wide world - at home it's more beautiful. 

The snow-covered ore mountains, in the middle of it the small and large Fichtel mountain, the Sachsenbaude and the highest town in Germany, Oberwiesenthal. These days my home present itself as a unique winter wonderland especially beautiful. Time to take a rest and appreciate the wonderful place, in which we are allowed to live. This film is my very personal ode to my home.
