In the middle of Tellerhäuser in the ore mountains a special winter sports monument now has its place - a 3.3 meters high snowman build by the Peter Riedel GmbH! Anyone who thinks that the great colossus is made of snow is wrong. With a weight of 500 kilos and a diameter of 1.7 meters, it consists of three stainless steel balls and stands right at the entrance to the hiking and cross-country skiing area in Tellerhäuser/Fichtelberg. So far, only two constructions of this size are documented in Norway amd Canada, so this stainless steel construction is almost unique in its appearance worldwide. The Peter Riedel GmbH once again proves its competence as a professional in the field of stainless steel. With this building the company division also underlines the winter sports affinity of the Erzgebirge.
